The Zoo Part II

Because the heart beats under a covering of hair, of fur, feathers, or wings, it is, for that reason, to be of no account?  -Jean Paul Richter

I was told to take a picture that conveys something in a new way.  I wondered how I could pull this off when I love taking images of what I see, what is reality not fantasy, and images of subjects that wouldn't understand what I was asking of them even if I tried.  Then I went to the zoo and this picture just happened.  Zoos are wonderful centers for education, research, rehabilitation of injured individuals and whole species but at what cost to its permanent residents?  Is this tiger dreaming of what lies on the other side of this wall or did something high above him just catch his attention?
