Being Back on the Mainland

Back on the mainland but I'm still on island time, moving as slow as a snail... The lack of intense contrast between dark and light areas in this photograph supplement the softness, tranquility, and languor I was trying to depict about this snail's lifestyle- one I deeply envy and have been mimicking for a bit too long.
