Migration Meetings

Bird tagging is a very common way that scientists, volunteers, and enthusiasts have been tracking birds and their migratory patterns for a long time.  This is my second season to witness bird tagging and it something that I would love to get involved with when I return from abroad.  The photographs were taken at Chatfield recreational park on Audobon Society territory.  All of the birds pictured here are individuals of different warbler species.  The colored images are nice but I love how the black and white images accentuate the contact between hand and bird rather than the exotic colors of feathers.  If you disagree with me or have a preference, please tell me so.
