This vibrant sea anemone was photographed at the Aquarium of the Bay in San Francisco. I leave tomorrow for Hawaii and hopefully will find the mecca of colorful species amidst Maui's reef's and aquarium. Getting a close up shot like this creates a more abstract image and draws more attention to the coloring of the organism than if I had used a wider frame.
