Notice how by holding the camera still, a still shot of the horse in motion is produced.  While...

panning the camera with the horse produces pieces that are blurred and focused to produce more movement in the frame.  

 A one thousand-plus pound animal rolls in the dirt while her ten year-old keeper seems to be pondering over something else.  It's fun to just sit back and observe life's curiosities.
