The Renaissance

The Renaissance Festival is one of the most spectacular places for people watching, drinking ale, and practicing your motion photography.  I captured these guys during their fake joust with a panning technique.  It's done by slowing down the shutter speed and moving the camera with the moving object after you've pressed the shutter button to blur the background.
